Welcome to Graphics Cove
Hello and welcome to the new and improved version 3 of Graphics Cove. I’ve been slowly learning lots of little tips and tricks in PHP and HTML/CSS which I have added to the theme over time and now I’m pleased to announce it’s completion! I’ve been developing this theme slowly but surely in the background to all my other design work that’s been piling up and despite all that I’m pleased with my site’s outcome.
So what’s new here and what can you look forward to while browsing the new site? Well he’s a quick breakdown of the new things I’ve added.
- New Blog – It seems a lot of people are using blogs to share their thoughts on their design websites, and I plan to do that same. I’ll keep you updated with all my latest projects, thoughts and other design related stuff from the blog so remember to subscribe so you don’t miss anything.
- About – A must have section for every site on the internet is the about page. I’ve redesigned this page so that it’s not just a little more about me, but my background in life and in art, the history of Graphics Cove as well as important things like what services I offer to clients when doing freelance work.
- Portfolio – The most important page on a design website, the portfolio. I’ve removed all the hard to understand and confusing bits and bobs from here and have just kept the galleries in so that you can view just my work without a load of hassle with other bits getting in the way.
- Contact & Quote pages – It’s so much easier now to contact me. I offer a simple contact form on the contact page for general inquiries or even friendly hellos! Instead if you would like to request a quote from me there’s an equal page to help you do that with helpful prompts asking you more details about your project.
- Hosting – As a web designer I also offer my clients hosting. Although this hosting is open to everyone, clients of my design services receive special discounts on the packages I offer.
- Avatar – So it’s not really an interesting addon to the website but I’ve created myself a new avatar for when I post in other places as ‘graphics cove’. Here’s the avatar so you recognise it’s me when you see it:
