A WordPress plugin and hosted service that lets developers remotely lock or blank out a client site, for unpaid invoices, expired licences or handover disputes.

The project
Developers and small agencies often lose leverage once a client has full access to a live site, there's no easy way to pause access if an invoice goes unpaid or a handover turns messy. Existing tools like maintenance-mode plugins and ManageWP don't offer true remote control.
WP-KillSwitch pairs a lightweight WordPress plugin with a hosted API. One click on the dashboard remotely blanks out or locks a site; if the plugin is removed, the site behaves normally again with no trace left behind. Rebuilt from an older local-only version into a remote-controlled service using Next.js and Supabase.
Development is currently paused ahead of final testing before launch.
