What will it cost to build?

Answer a few questions for a realistic ballpark on a new site, a rebuild or a web app, and see exactly what drives the price.

What kind of project is it?
How would you like it built?

Not sure? Pick that — we will recommend an approach on a call.

Roughly how many pages or templates?
What about design?
Which of these do you need?

Who is handling the content?
What is the timeline?

Answer the first two questions to see a ballpark.

What moves the number.

Build approach
A WordPress site and a custom Next.js build solve different problems and cost differently. Custom costs more up front but is faster to change later.
Scope of pages and templates
Ten near-identical pages are cheap. Ten distinct layouts, each with their own logic, are not.
Design
Adapting a template is a fraction of the cost of a bespoke design, which is itself a fraction of building a brand from nothing.
Features
Forms and a blog are routine. Accounts, payments, dashboards and integrations each add real engineering time.
Content
If we write the copy and sort the images, that is a project in itself. Ready-to-go content keeps things moving.
Timeline
A comfortable schedule is efficient. Compressing it means overlapping work and more hands, which costs more.

Questions people ask.

How accurate is this?

It is a ballpark, not a quote. It is built to get you into the right order of magnitude and show you what moves the number, so a first conversation is useful rather than a fishing expedition. Real quotes come after we understand the detail.

Why the wide range?

Two projects that tick the same boxes can still differ a lot once you get into how custom the design is, how clean the existing content and data are, and how many edge cases hide behind a feature. The range narrows fast once we talk.

Do you do fixed-price or day rate?

Both, depending on the work. Well-defined builds usually work as a fixed price with clear milestones. Open-ended or evolving work is better on a retainer or day rate. We will recommend whichever fits.

What about ongoing costs?

If you choose “build plus support”, the estimate includes a monthly range for managed hosting, updates, monitoring and a block of support time. You can also just take the build and handle hosting yourself.

Is my information stored?

The estimate is calculated in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere unless you ask us to email you a copy, in which case we get your answers and your email address so we can follow up.
